Welcome to the website for Vicky Roden
The Roden is a multidisciplinary artist from the West Midlands, UK. Based in Sandwell and Birmingham, her practice focuses on memory, history, mythology, the absurd and the macabre.
A graduate of Birmingham School of Art she has worked with organisations including Multistory, Vivid Projects, New Art Gallery Walsall, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Stryx, University of Birmingham and Stans Cafe. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and currently runs artist led studios and space Faiulbetter
Roden is currently working on Arts Council England funded Developing Your Creative Practice Project More Than Human, looking at human remains in collections and how we relate to them in the present day.
