Crafting in this case is – any activity which can be safely done at a pub table. Knitting, crochet, collage, embroidery, cut up poetry… the list goes on.
Canting in the Black Country Dialect term for… a natter. Despite The Prince of Wales being in Birmingham, it’s a Black Country Arms pub and certainly has the cobs to be entitled to use the term.
So a Craft & Cant is… just that. An elevated Stitch’N’Bitch. Come along, drop in, and hang out. Bring your own projects , have a go at my Craft-du-jour, or simply come along and join the cant!
